“I met Austin Cooper around the beginning of summer 2015. I had been going to the gym for a few weeks, only doing cardio in hopes of losing weight. One day, Austin approached me to see if I’d be interested in learning about weightlifting. He was very friendly and professional, and I’ve been meeting with him for about three months now.
My goal was weight loss, and after our first meeting, he put together a workout routine that suited my needs. My biggest fear was injuring my back again, as that had happened the last time I tried weightlifting. Austin showed me how to perform each exercise and made sure my technique was correct to help prevent injury. He was always available to meet or modify the workout if something didn’t feel right. Austin would also text me every now and then to check in, which gave me that extra bit of motivation to keep going—especially since the first month was the hardest. Once I got into a routine, going to the gym became something I looked forward to every day.
Over the course of three months, while on a low-carb diet and with Austin’s help, I’ve lost about 40 lbs. My strength has increased, and the aches and pains I’ve had for years are almost completely gone. While most of the weight loss probably came from dieting, weightlifting has put me in a better and stronger mental space. It’s made sticking to a diet twice as easy and is definitely worth the effort.”

“While working out in the gym one day, Austin approached me about possibly becoming my personal trainer for a month. I was initially hesitant, but there was something genuine about his warm and friendly personality. He even offered to train me on a free trial basis.
Personally, my problem was that although I was spending plenty of time in the gym, I was struggling to put on mass—which was my goal. On the first day, Austin met with me and devised a training and nutrition plan specifically tailored to my goal of gaining 4–5 lbs. of muscle during our month together. What I particularly liked was that Austin was there for nearly every workout to really push my body to the limits. Even when he wasn’t present, he’d send a text to check in and help keep me accountable.
Since Austin shows you how to perform each exercise correctly, his training program is sustainable—you know what to do even when you’re on your own. When I started training with Austin, I weighed 158 lbs., and after a month, I had gained 3 lbs. of muscle. Needless to say, I was pleased, especially since I was spending probably half the time in the gym compared to before. This was my first experience with a personal trainer, and overall, it was excellent. I would highly recommend Austin.
P.S. Since finishing the program, I’ve put on an additional 2 lbs., and Austin still stays in touch.”
